Header

  • The Header is universal in the app. It offers a sticky

action that allows a user to create a new call from anywhere in the Records application.

  • The Header also features a universal command line function

that allows searching across the app and records. Other tools on the Header include: connections, geo-location, messages, app launcher and profile settings.

    Sidebar Menu

  • The Sidebar Menu grants access to other modules within the Records application. This includes functions to open a single active call, monitor all active calls and active units, manage dispatch terminals and viewing recent calls. The Sidebar menu can be expanded and collapsed by clicking on the top left 'menu hamburger'.

Breadcrumb

  • The Breadcrumb gives a user context on where they are in the app and which module is active. The Breadcrumb path always begins with Home, which navigates back to the default module, which in this case is the Dispatch dashboard. The second part of the path is the current module you are active in. The current module is also highlighted in the Sidebar Menu.

View Menu

  • The View Menu sits anchored to the right-side of the Breadcrumb and offers options for configuring the user experience. The Records application supports Night Mode, a theme contrast that lends well to low light situations.

Results

  • The SOMA Records application is easily customized and configurable. Results can be sorted by various categories, such as Name, Date, Reference Number, Location, etc. These options are determined by the System Administrator and can be edited by selecting the 'menu hamburger'

    located under the "New" button.
