SOMA Records features configurable and extensible Civil Paper Records.

Step-by-step guide

  1. A new Civil Paper Record can be created by clicking the '+ New Civil Paper' button on the upper right side of the page

    or the universal '+ New' drop down menu on the upper left side of the page.

  2. Creating a new Civil Paper will automatically be assigned a Paper Number.

  3. Civil Paper Records can be viewed by clicking the 'right arrow' next to the record.

    From here, new information can be added to a record or existing information edited.

  4. Records can be searched by date range by selecting the appropriate dates in the calendar. Examples of date range types are Paper Date, Court Date/Time, and Served Date/Time.

  5. Results can be sorted by clicking the titles in the table. Ex. Paper Number, Date, Served, Case Number, etc. These options are determined and configured by your System Administrator.
