In 37.1, SOMA built-up value to ADMIN, HUB, and DISPATCH. Also, we resolved platform issues. Take a look at the videos below to explore and understand the highlights in this release.

Please review the full release notes in the link below:

ADMIN

Disable Single Sign-On (SSO) On Security Assertation Markup Language (SAML) Feeds

Audience: System Users/Administrators

In Admin, in the SOMA feeds settings section, you can hide the SSO link from the login page by selecting the correspondent box. Now, you can take advantage of this improvement by choosing if you want to sync your agency's group information without syncing your identity provider (IdP).

*This requires a configuration: Admin at the agency level. See below:

HUB

Ability To Import Records From SOMA Shared Feeds

Audience: General

In the Hub, SOMA added the ability to import Name, Vehicle, and Property records from the shared SOMA feed when executing a query in HUB. In Admin, you need to enable permission to import data. First, make sure to select SOMA feed, and that the searchable option is selected. Then, in configuration, you can choose which records you will allow others to import. This update will help multiple jurisdictions to exchange data to be more effective while conducting their duties.

*This requires a configuration: Admin at the agency level. See below:

DISPATCH

Unknown Unit's Unit Number Is Not Displayed In Case Record

Audience: Dispatchers

(No Audio)

As a dispatcher, you can create a new call, add an unknown unit to the call, update the status, clear the unit and the call, navigate to recent calls, and the call will be displayed. This improvement is beneficial for your agency, so the calls for service records can be obtained for data analysis, accountability, etc.
