DISPATCH

Saved Monitor View - Dispatch - Save Reorder

Audience: Dispatchers and Mobile Users

As a Dispatcher or Mobile User, you are able to reorder your screen layouts and save those changes, so the order of your preference will be displayed by selecting the Hamburger Menu and then the Monitor option from the application. This new feature will help organize your layouts to handle calls in a much faster fashion.

Saved Monitor View - Dispatch - Open Layout In New Tab

Audience: Dispatchers and Mobile Users

As a Dispatcher or Mobile User, you can open different layouts in multiple tabs. This feature allows you to save multiple layouts and open them in separate tabs. You can do this by selecting the Hamburger Menu, the Monitor option from the application, and saving your layouts. This new feature will help keep different layouts open when handling calls or performing other duties.

Command Dispatch Unit En Route

Audience: Dispatchers

As a Dispatcher, you can now dispatch units to calls and set up their statues via Command Line (i.e., DU ER <callnumber> <unitnumber>). This new feature will let you utilize your time more effectively since you can perform those changes from the Command Line while handling calls.

Saved Monitor View - Manage List Reorder

Audience: Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher, you can now utilize the saved monitor view and reorder the manage layout container with drag and drop capability. This drag and drop capability allows you to reorder and organize your layouts. You can do this by selecting the Hamburger Menu, the Monitor option from the application, and the manage layout box. You can then drag and drop different layouts to position them as you need. This improvement is great because now you can save the layouts and change their order depending on your assignment for that day.

Pending Calls Does Not Filter Out In Monitor

Audience: Dispatchers and Mobile Users

As a Dispatcher and Mobile User, you can filter out pending calls in monitor and table views in the call filter dialog box. You can filter out pending calls by navigating to the Dispatch or Mobile app, opening the call column filters, and selecting to filter out pending calls. This improvement will be helpful when you are handling calls and want to focus only on active calls for quicker response.

ADMIN

Add Abbreviation Field To Capabilities

Audience: System Users/Administrators

As a System User, you can create and associate abbreviations to capabilities. You can create an abbreviation and associate capabilities by selecting the hamburger menu in the Admin app going to settings, Dispatch, and capabilities. This new feature will help you maximize the space available in the user interface and the responding time while performing your duties.

Allow Admin To Assign User Capabilities

Audience: System Users/Administrators

As a System User, you can add capabilities to users. You can add capabilities to a user by selecting the hamburger menu in the Admin app, going to Users, selecting the user you want to add the capability to, and entering the capability of your choice. This new feature will help you to add personnel skills to each user.

Allow/Fix Capability Editing

Audience: System Users/Administrators

As a System User, you can edit capabilities already created by clicking the hamburger menu in the Admin app, go to settings, dispatch, and capabilities. There are two ways to edit capabilities: double-click the capability already entered, or you can select the pencil. This new feature will help you to edit personnel skills for users.
