RECORDS

Searching Call/Unit Activity Logs - Separate Tenant

Audience: Dispatcher/Mobile User

As a dispatcher or Mobile user, you can search for a call and unit activity logs from different tenants. For example, this multi-jurisdictional search capability allows the user to find connections to cases where jurisdiction law can be used to resolve issues in disputes.

ADMIN

Setup dispatch plans within shared tenants - Separate Tenant

Audience: System User

As a SOMA admin, dispatch plans now can be configured using other tenants' areas, call types, and unit types available to choose from. You can sort it out by service types, call types, priorities, and all unit types. This improvement will be advantageous when you are working on a multi-jurisdictional capacity to manage and handle calls more efficiently.

Require Abbreviation When Creating Capability

Audience: System User

In the SOMA system, we added validation to capability abbreviations. You have to add abbreviations to new and existing capabilities so the system works correctly when using this feature.

Dispatch Alert - Call Alert Text Messages Not Mapping Due To Where The Area Is In Content

Audience: System User

As a dispatch alert recipient, you will see improvements by using the map link on Apple devices as we have moved the area to come before the address.

DISPATCH

Location Involvements Information Not Displaying For Shared Tenants

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, any persons and places added to a tenant will be shared across tenants to be displayed on calls. This feature will ensure that agencies working in a multi-jurisdictional capacity have updated information for responder safety.

Messaging Between Tenants - Separate Tenant

Audience: Dispatchers/System Users

As a dispatcher or system user, you can exchange messages with other tenants with our SOMA multi-jurisdictional feature. For example, you can be logged in to agency “A” and send messages to a user from agency “B.” This feature allows you to communicate with different tenants to coordinate and handle calls covering multi-jurisdictions.

Active Call - Find/Use Dispatch Plans Setup In Shared Tenants - Separate Tenant

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, dispatch plans can be applied from one tenant to another, allowing you to take full advantage of the dispatch plans. For example, tenant “A” dispatch, tenant “B” - Mobile, tenant “A” can set up the dispatch plan, and tenant “B” will use it. This enhancement is beneficial when you are working in a multi-jurisdictional capacity.

Monitor-Convert Stack Call Menu To Dialog & Allow Removing Stacks From Stack Call Dialog

Audience: Dispatchers

Using the new dialog box as a dispatcher, you can stack and unstack multiple calls to/from a unit. Also, those changes will be displayed in the column and table view, so you can quickly identify which units are stacked and unstacked. This improvement will be helpful when you are handling several calls with a few units available.

Active Call - Reset Layout Functionality Is Missing From Profile Menu

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can now take advantage of the reset layout function button located under the profile menu in the active call screen. So, if you change your display layout, you will be able to return the layout to the default setting. This update will help you if you make a change, such as closing your map and need to reset the layout on your active call screen.

Active Call - Unit Can Only Be Dispatched Once From Dispatch Pane

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can dispatch units from the dispatch pane more than once in the active call screen without refreshing the screen. This enhancement will allow you to perform your duties faster and be more productive as a dispatcher.

Monitor-Convert Stack Call Menu To Dialog & Allow Removing Stacks From Stack Call Dialog

Audience: Dispatchers

You can stack and unstack calls from the dialogue boxes as a dispatcher. For example, you can stack multiple calls to a unit and clear the stack calls from the same dialog box. This improvement is beneficial because it helps you to increase your productivity while you carry out your dispatcher’s duties.

DISPATCH/MOBILE

View & Navigation To Incident Reports For Separate Service Types

Audience: Dispatchers/Mobile Users

As a dispatcher or Mobile user, you can view and navigate to incident reports for other service types. For example, if you are handling a call as a Law type, you will be able to view the incidents reports for that call from Fire or EMS. However, if you want to interact with those other different reports, you will have to gain access from your own agency system. This upgrade helps when you need to obtain additional information from another service type to handle and investigate your calls.

Profile Menu-User Is Unable To Change Unit Id & Terminal Id Using Profile Icon

Audience: Dispatchers/Mobile Users

As a dispatcher and Mobile user, you can change your user and unit identification by utilizing the profile icon. This upgrade will allow you to access the profile icon to conveniently and quickly change your information.

Recent Calls - Only Call Type Code Is Displayed In Call Type Column

Audience: Dispatchers/Mobile Users

As a dispatcher or Mobile user, you can take advantage of the return of the call type to the recent calls window. This upgrade helps you search quickly for a call type when you don’t know the key.

Saved Monitor View - Reorder Layouts Not Working

Audience: Dispatchers/Mobile Users

As a dispatcher and Mobile user, you can manage and save layouts in monitor view. For example, you can go to the layout tab in the monitor view and select manage layout. After selecting the manage layout option, you can rearrange the layout and save that order. This upgrade will help you, when you log in, to keep different layout types under the monitor tab for easy access.
