Please review the full release notes in the link below:

ADMIN

Super Admin Feature Flag

Audience: Super Admin

As a super admin, you can set a new version of the active call screen layout. This update is beneficial, so the changes do not impact agencies, and call takers can access the call content during the call intake workflow.

*This requires configuration permission. See below:

Multi-jurisdictional Dispatch Plans Show Blank Values When Editing

Audience: System User

As a system admin, you can update multi-jurisdictional dispatch plans without getting blank values when editing. This update will help you efficiently handle calls by creating dispatch plans that include more than one tenant while conducting efforts in a multi-jurisdictional capacity.

Multi-jurisdictional Area Recalculation

Audience: System User

You can assign area recalculation using shared tenant layers as a system admin. So, in dispatch, for example, you can create calls from tenant A and obtain the correct area in tenant B. This feature will benefit multi-jurisdictional agencies when making dispatch plans and rotations.

DISPATCH

Active Areas: Display areas based on service type, select/deselect areas within a hierarchical list, and allow active areas management for shared tenant

Audience: Dispatchers

In dispatch, you will notice a new selection called: active area under the profile icon. This unique selection allows you to open a new active area dialog box displaying shared tenants, service types, and subcategories. In addition, the active area dialog box makes selecting and deselecting areas quickly. This new feature is highly beneficial for agencies that work with different tenants and need to manage active areas promptly.

Active Call - Apply Timer Notifications To Shared Tenant Units - Separate Tenant

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can get dispatch notifications from units from another agency. For example, a dispatcher will get alerts for units associated with their calls even though they work for separate tenants. This feature is essential for officer safety, data analysis, productivity, and planning/responding to multi-jurisdictional efforts.

Active Call - Adding Preference For New Active Call Layout & Default Golden Layout

Audience: Dispatchers

In dispatch, you will have a new option for the active call layout. First, your system admin will have to give permission to your agency in the group settings: โ€œNew Active Call Workflow.โ€ Then, you can go to the display settings and choose the layout of your preference. This improvement will give you more options for displaying your active call information to handle calls more efficiently.

*This requires configuration permission. See below:

Active Call - Remove Read Only View Of Location Content And Place On Screen

Audience: Dispatchers

The Call Taking Form can be left open so that the location field can be updated at any time. This enhancement will help make the call-taking process more effective and accurate.

Add/Remove Capabilities By Abbreviation From Command Line

Audience: Dispatchers

You can add or remove capabilities from the command line as a dispatcher. For example, you can enter acap as the command to add capabilities and rcap to remove capabilities. This update is beneficial because it will allow you to handle calls faster and provide the information necessary to satisfy response requirements.

DISPATCH/MOBILE

Messaging - Find/Select User UI Does Not Function In Multi-jurisdiction Tenant

Audience: Dispatchers and Mobile Users

As a dispatcher or mobile user, you can filter users and send messages to users assigned to multiple agencies. This improvement will help you directly communicate with other users when handling calls that are part of multi-jurisdictional assignments.

Messaging - Creating New Chat Window When One Already Is Open Causes An Overlap

Audience: Dispatchers and Mobile Users

As a dispatcher or mobile user, you can originate a message, and the system will create a new chat window. Previously the system would display new chat windows right over each other. This upgrade will not let the system do that; instead, the new chat window will show to the right of the other chat windows. This change will be helpful so you can see all messages and have better communication with other users.
