ADMIN
Rotations - Allow Creating Rotations For Shared Tenant Capabilities
Audience: System Users/Administrators
As an administrator, you can set up rotation capabilities for shared dispatch tenants. This setup is accomplished by going to the admin app and selecting Routes/Rotation, creating New Route/Rotation, then you will see the dropdown menu for Unit Types and Capabilities. This is beneficial, so that you can create and manage route/rotations for each agency you may dispatch for.
Bases Admin Is Linked For All Users In The Same Tenant
Audience: System Users/Administrators
As an administrator, you can create Bases that will work independently within two agencies in the same tenant. This update is helpful because you can handle calls much faster by dispatching units and using bases that are not shared between agencies.
DISPATCH
Active Call - Make Incident Reports A Golden Layout Component
Audience: Call Takers/Dispatchers
As a call taker/dispatcher, you can have the incident reports content turned into a golden layout component in Active Call. This change is important because you can place the Incident Report tab anywhere on the screen since it is its own component, allowing you to drag and drop it where you want and improve the user experience.
Active Call - Make Property Info A Golden Layout Component
Audience: Dispatchers
As a dispatcher, you can drag and drop the Property Info Tab anywhere on the screen in the New Active Call layout because now it is its own component. This change is important because you can rearrange your screen as you like to handle your calls more effectively.
Recent Calls - Date - To Filter Doesn't Return Results Sooner Than 5 Hours
Audience: Dispatcher
As a dispatcher, you can search/filter for Recent Calls by a specific time in the Active Call screen. This improvement is helpful because, as a dispatcher, you can get specific calls to display quickly on your screen when you need a particular call's information.
Command Line - Merge Calls Confirmation Dialog
Audience: Dispatchers
As a dispatcher, you can merge calls from the command line, and get a Merge Calls Confirmation dialog box when merging calls, so you can make sure the correct calls are merged. To merge the calls after getting the dialog box, you can merge the calls by hitting enter, or you can hit escape or click cancel to action.
Command Line - Add Base To Us Command
Audience: Dispatcher
As a dispatcher, you can update the unit’s Home Base through the command line when updating the unit’s status. This change is beneficial because it allows you to keep your stationed unit locations up to date.
*This requires Bases’ permission ON for your agency’s dispatch group. Also, your agency and your units are using “Home Base.”
