DISPATCH
Active Call - Hyperlinks Not Linking With Expanded
Audience: Dispatchers
As a dispatcher, you can add a hyperlink to a call comment. If the comment display preference is set to "expanded comments," the system will automatically navigate you to that webpage when you click the URL. This improvement is helpful when you are handling a call and need to search for extra information, so now you can get that information on a different page for a faster response.
Command Line - If COU A User, Then Do Not Make Unit(s) Unavailable If Another User Remain
Audience: Dispatchers
As a dispatcher, you can check out a user from a unit that has multiple users manning it without making the unit unavailable. This upgrade allows you to keep units available even though you reorganize the unit or team’s unit users while handling your calls.
RECORDS
Call Record - Include Call Close Date/Time
Audience: Records Clerk
As a records clerk, you can utilize the new field added to the Call Records section that indicates the call closing date/time. This new addition is beneficial if you need to print out the final record for the court. Additionally, this is extremely helpful for those calls handled over multiple days.
Incident Report Created In Agency B Utilizes Format From Agency A
Audience: System User
As a system user, when you have two units from different agencies on a call, the system will label the incident report with each agency’s format. This improvement will allow dispatchers and other system users to quickly identify their agencies’ incident reports by the established prefix in the active call screen.
CHP 180 Diagram - Additional Image Add To Diagram Component
Audience: System User
You can benefit from the new image added to the accident schema and record as a system user. The new image addition will help you to identify specific areas that affected a vehicle in your crash report for a more detailed description of the accident.
