There are several areas in the Dispatch application where a Call can be joined. As a Dispatcher, joining a Call allows you to be an active participant on a Call: to dispatch units, manage call information, and collaborate through call comments. You can join and participate in many Calls concurrently; this is called "Call Stacking."

One of the primary areas to view, monitor and join calls is in the Monitor Calls module.

Go to Soma Switch to go to the Dispatch application:

Click on Dispatch

Next, go to the Hamburger and click on it to get to the Monitor Calls module:

Then, you can see the Active Calls shown on the Monitor View screen:

To Join a Call from this screen you can click on the lightning bolt:

After you click on the lightning bolt, you become the Dispatcher for that Call.

Also, you can Join a Call by entering the JC in the Command Line. (Example: jc 3 OR jc 3001)

Note: SOMA Dispatch allows users to switch or swap between Stacked Calls.
