DISPATCH

Capability Type Rotation - Unit Not Correctly Rotating

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can rely on the Hybrid Dispatch Plan to rotate your units based on their capabilities while ensuring the proper rotation. For example, when the agency has a Hybrid Dispatch Plan created that dispatches based on capability, the units' rotation will be based on dispatching the unit that has not been dispatched recently, and those units will be displayed in the suggested section in the Dispatch pane. This improvement will be beneficial because while handling your calls, you can be confident your units have been rotated fairly.

Active Call - Layout Locked Option Is Gone

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can Lock and Unlock the layout in Active Call. This option is found under the Profile menu. Locking and unlocking the layout is helpful to make sure you save your preferred layout to help you be more productive and time efficient when handeling your calls. Also, this is helpful for training while onboarding new dispatchers.

Dispatch & Rotation Plans - Unit Not Being Added To The End Of Rotation On Cancel

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, when a dispatch plan is set up with a matching route requiring rotation and the suggested unit was already dispatched, that unit now goes to the bottom of the rotation order. This was previously canceled because if the unit was reinserted after being dispatched, that unit would go to the top of the list instead of the bottom. This addition is important because now, as a dispatcher and using the dispatch plan, the rotation process is fair and effective.

Command Line - Command Line Breaks If Empty Alias Exists

Audience: Dispatchers

As a dispatcher, you can utilize Command Line Aliases and save to the system only complete aliases. For example, if you leave an Alias incomplete in the Command Line Aliases dialogue box, that Alias will not be saved to the system. This improvement will be helpful so you have a clean list of Aliases so the process of handling calls via Command Line will be easier and more efficient.
